Easy and secure way to attach decoy anchor for transport

Very simple decoy rig. With this method you can secure decoy anchor to decoy for transport.

You need a rubber band, decoy anchor and some decoy cord. Cut the rubber band so that you can tie it to the decoy anchor. Once the anchor is attached to the rubber band, tie the decoy cord around the rubber band and that's it. For transport, wrap the rubber band around the decoy's keel, head, bill, etc. The anchor stays firmly attached and it is easy to unwrap when needed.

Remember to check rubber bands condition after every season. The rubber band will wear under use like any other rubber product. Change the rubber bands in time, so you don't have to chase free floaters during hunting. New rubber band lasts about two to three seasons in good shape and then it needs to be replaced.
